Mini Miners Pediatric Dentistry is a family owned kids dental office in Erie, CO that treats children of all ages, from newborns to young adults, including patients with special needs. Our team provides gentle, high quality dental care in a space built just for kids.

Dr. Alison Grover and her husband Logan opened Mini Miners in 2017 and designed every detail with children in mind. From bright, playful waiting rooms to kid sized dental tools, the entire office was created to help children feel safe and comfortable.

Their goal was simple: turn the dentist into a place kids actually enjoy. With fun choices like flavored toothpaste, over 70 movies to watch during treatment, and a caring team trained in child behavior, Mini Miners makes dental visits something children look forward to, not fear.

The Mini Miner's Approach

Our kid friendly, parent approved approach is built to make every dental visit a positive experience:

A Fun Space Made for Kids: Our office is full of things children love, including arcade games, a slide in the waiting area, bright and playful decor, and hand painted train tracks on the floors (see our Office Tour). Every room also has oral hygiene toys and displays that make learning about dental care fun and easy.
Comfort at Every Step: Children get to customize their visit by choosing a movie to watch on ceiling mounted TVs and picking their favorite toothpaste and fluoride flavors. We use small, kid sized instruments and a camera style xray machine so kids can stay relaxed and keep watching their movie while we work.
Parents Are Always Welcome: Unlike some practices, we do not just allow parents in the treatment room, we encourage it. We believe the best results come from working together with parents to help kids build healthy teeth and lasting oral hygiene habits.

Modern Pediatric Dental Techniques: We offer Hall Crowns (no numbing or drilling needed), White Crowns for front and molar teeth, all levels of sedation including nitrous oxide in every room, digital xrays, ICON to treat white spots on front teeth, Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF), and the latest tooth materials and gentle approaches.
Special Needs Expertise: We take pride in providing compassionate, personalized care for children with special needs. Dr. Alison has both professional training and personal experience with special needs kids. Our team adapts each visit with patience, flexible chair positioning, happy visits, and every level of sedation to keep the experience positive.

Outside of work, you'll find me cheering on my boys at soccer games, whipping up something in the kitchen, or diving into my latest crafting project.
